OUR CODE OF ETHICS
PERSONNAIDE has given itself the following code of ethics:
PERSONNAIDE believes that the client’s needs are its first priority.
PERSONNAIDE recognizes the uniqueness of each person and their right to be treated with dignity.
PERSONNAIDE does not discrimate based on sex, colour, race, beliefs, age or incapacity.
PERSONNAIDE ensures that all information obtained during home care services is and will remain confidential.
PERSONNAIDE believes that clients have the following specific rights: Such as (this list is not complete) the right:
- To receive care from a qualified staff;
- To be shown consideration, compassion and respect;
- To a continuity of care that is within reason;
- To refuse care;
- To know the person supervising the care services as well as that person’s qualifications;
- To be explained how the service works;
- To be able to quickly reach a staff person responsible for service coordination;
- To be involved in each step of the needs evaluation;
- To be informed of all costs associated with the service.
